hmm need a little help here
ok now i was able to come up on an E60 BMW 5series headlight unit...now the headlight doesnt have a bulb or balast but it has the projector, halos, leds and shroud and whatnot still on it i want to do a retrofit but i only have one of them which is the passenger side unit too... but now...im looking to sell it instead and get a retrofit kit from HID planet (bulbs, balasts, projectors etc) anyways, should i do that or look for another bmw headlight (or just the projector) and get bulbs and balasts separately

look for just the projector. an entire headlamp assembly off of a bmw isn't exactly cheap...
do you know what brand/type of projector is in the e60 headlight? if i'm not mistaken it's a standard E55 projector (used in, you guessed it, E55s, maximas, some focus', etc)

Rep Power: 320 icic...i haven been able to take a look at it but all i know is the unit was made by hella...it could be an E55 projector...i found another one on ebay and its current bid is at 30 bucks so im gonna try to get that one (it also has a balast) so after i get 2 projectors im gonna get some bulbs from maybe hid planet and 1 balast and im retrofit ready

Rep Power: 321 i would just sell the headlight. If the lense on the projector in the headlight is fresnel then you'll lose a lot of color. I would just sell it and use the money to get some tsx projectors. The price on the tsx projectors have gone down a bit.
My e46 light up the road really well, but when i'm by a s2000. The beam from the s2000 kills out my light from my e46.

Rep Power: 320 well i've seen the car with the lights on and there is a good colorband...i think better than my Q45 with the gatlin gun projectors...if i get the one off ebay ill put the projectors together and do a retro cuz the S2k ones are really big not by the lense but the housing itself is large from what i've seen and i dunno if it'll fit in my 04 headlights
