Help with removing headlights
ok so i removed the bumjper, removed the cables for the turn signal, but i don't know how to remove this cable (connected to main headlight bulb), here's a pic of the cable that connects to the bulb:

how do i remove the cable and/or bulb?

how do i remove the cable and/or bulb?
naw i figured it out. i had to pull off a cap and there was a silver piece of metal in there (it looked like a long paper clip that had been bent. that was holding the bulb, so i just disconnected it from there. thanks for the help though.

taking the bulbs out is more dangerous. do you realize that you've just exposed your bulbs to the elements and any dirt/dust/oil/grease/nastiness in your engine bay? just fyi...

yea and when ur done and u go driving at night, ur lights may not last for more than an hour because the grease and stuff from the engine bay will heat up, thus causing the light bulb to explode
ahaha yea, i had a bunch of those static-free bags laying around from all the computer parts i've bought in the past. see they came in handy.
here's the progress that i've made:

yea it woulduv been good to check if NC state law allowed clear turn signals before i did this project, but to my dissatisfaction, it's prohibited...... fuhk it, i'll just tell the cop i was on my way to go get the amber installed if i get pulled over.

i think the reflector has to be amber colored. in our case, it's a clear reflector behind an amber plastic piece of thing lol.
but i dont see why an amber bulb would fail you.

yea the amber bulb should work ok
i just came back from autozone, they didn't have it. i asked them about it and they said that an amber bulb would work, but whatever, they're autozone employees.
imma drive around today looking for a cop and ask him what the deal is with amber in the headlights.

so i was installing the headlights today, but i lost one of the metal wire clamps that go behind the headlight bulb and secure it. i ended up making my own out of an "industrial" paper clip. i woulduv taken pics but the camera was with mom in her car.
all in all i think i did a good job.
