Strange- headlights went out together tonight

Suddenly both my headlights went out tonight, the parking lights still worked, but both headlights were off, I checked fuses , they were fine, then I toggled and pushed on the connectors to the bulbs and the wires in that area, miracously as I pushed on it one came on, then I did the same and the other light came on..................don't understand this, or what caused it........

That Happened to my civic also the lights just went out I tested all the connections under the hood and the fuses and even replaced the bulb itself until I took it to a mechanic and he mentioned that my ground wires burned out..

Hey thanks, yall, I checked them out and put back in some cool blues like I used to have...they worked...my bulbs were burn out - phillips blue....burn out, I like the cool blues bulbs better, I put them in...problem- my rubber weather seals are gone, both of them! I need some new rubber weather seals around my bulbs so the moist/weather doesn't mess up my bulbs and burn them out...where can I get these seals I don't know where they went!!!!

yup it had to be the moisture that can quickly kill a bulb.

This happened on my 96 hx about 3 months ago. I did not believe that both headlights could possibly burn out... and since my wiper switch had gone out and been replaced, I bought a new light switch and replaced that... only to find that it was not the problem. Both lights needed to be replaced.

Headlights off

Today I came out of the store and only my high beams work. I cannot figure out what happened. What is the problem....expensive to fix.
