HID Prob
Alright, Ive had H4 (low only) xtec hids for just under 6 months or something like that. Pass side HID is fine, turns on and off NPs but the bulb seems to be loosing its colour otherwise it works perfect. Drivers side will turn on the first couple times without problems (in the same night) but it seems that after a while, or sometimes not even that long when I turn the car off and back on then hit the lights drivers side wont turn on. I flick the lights on and off a little and sometimes it turns on but most of the time it doesnt. I have changed the wiring to the OE harness by just cutting it off and connecting it directly.
I will try to swap the bulbs and ballasts and redo the wiring by soldering not just e tap which works for pass side. I just want to know if anyone else had this problem before, if it might be a bad ballast before I start ripping everything apart again.
Or if this sounds like a relay prob
Thx

this sounds like user error. how many times have i said to use a wiring harness and not directly connect ballasts to the stock wiring? THIS WILL DESTROY YOUR WIRES AND RELAYS. make a harness and save yourself now before your wiring goes kapoof.
also, flicking HIDs on and off repeatedly within a short amount of time WILL damage the bulbs and ballasts. as for your problem with the passenger "losing color," well, that's what you get when you buy a kit. if you want to, you could take your chances with the manufacturer (XTEC) and see if they will uphold the "warranty" that they offered with the product. more likely than not, they will do squat.
