HID Question

Ok so my uncle bought a HID kit for his Altima ... and it looks amazing, and easy install.

Now I've messaged the company to purchase it for my civic. Everything seems cool, except that I'd need to purchase the more expensive dual beam HID kit, if I want to still keep my HI beams - which I do want to keep.

But now he sent something about how I would most likely/should disable the daytime running lights, becuase that can damage the ballast.

My uncles cars daytime running lights are not the same as his normal headlights, ours unfortunately are. Anyone know how to do this ? Is it easy ?

Anyone know if this is true ... and if so .. anyone know/have steps/walkthrough on how to do it?

well yah ... but you can disable them and then put in your own fog lights ... so technically you still have lights on during the day.
