Projector help please
one friend bought a projector headlights for his honda civic 2002 lx
they are angel eye but one of the CCFL round thing is burnt there is any way to change it and if there is any where i can find it?????? and there are any other colors (he doesnt like the white) thanks for the help

you can change out the lights in the halos to LEDs or to an actual CCFL tube. the easiest way is just to change the LEDs and put in a fat resistor so the diodes don't burn out. also, wiring is key. if your friend has bad wires for the halos, then get different wiring and make your own.
can you get different colors? yeah. why the hell wouldn't you be able to? the only problem i can see is if you wanted a white CCFL tube - you can only get those in asia, and even there it's really hard to find. blue, red, green, etc can all be found on ebay. beware of LEDs on ebay - they're usually shitty quality.

Rep Power: 435 you can find different sizes of the CCFL tubes. they can range from 50mm to 120mm, but most headlights use a 3" projector, meaning an 80mm CCFL tube will fit.
if you want to use LEDs, then, yes, you can use the same "halo."

i know about computer stuff more than cars but i didnt know the projectors used CCFL 3" or 80mm that solves my friend problem really thx for all the help
