Best fog lights?
Best fog lights?
Are the OEM fog lights worth the price? I found these aftermarkets for 100. http://www.k2motor.com/lf-cv01oem.html Not sure about their quality though. Any other aftermarkets might be worth it?

oem isn't really any better, the light is almost impossible to see unless you throw in some yellow bulbs. I just have mine for looks during the rainy days. it does nothing for visibility.
if you want real FOG lights you need the yellow ones why?
well because the wave is different from the white light so the yellow light pass trough the fog and doesnt bounce like the white ones

But those ebay ones don't leak or anything. All the right electrical stuff with them and good instructions? They fit will in the stock lower grill?

well oem only lets you turn them on when the headlight is on. so you can just keep the switch pushed in, and they will turn on with the headlights. I did a rewire job so I can use mine anytime the key is in acc position.

sceam? wtf is a sceam?
if you're going for all blue and white, then durdur-durrrrr!!! stick with either a blue coated bulb or a clear bulb.

You can get their product in a 4x8 sheet in a blue tint. One sheet will so a pair of fogs. The stuff might even keep the lens from getting cracked from road rocks.

cbags05 - there is a thread here about those lights
The guy threw away one set he got off of eBay and got those. said they were the best non OEM. Think he had to get an OEM switch. You can get an OEM switch for less than $11 at autowebaccessories

I was looking over my dash....where the hell does the switch go? I don't see anywhere.
Why the hell can't I make a thread that doesn't get moved? Too many F-ing forums on this site.

naw they're nearly impossible to remove. there's wires running everywhere even inside the car and i would need a new bumper without holes cut out.
actually i think the wholes could be used for a cold air intake. the passenger side, there is nothing behind the bumper, so if you have a 5 spd, you could route a hose down there and mount an airfilter, then buy the lil grills that cover that spot up. and your set.
