I finally got my super nice suvlights.com H4 harness for the headlights. All plug and play, tested to increase voltage to the headlamps. Well I can't really tell a color difference or anything. I'm using philips vision plus (like stock clear), but they looked the same after. Maybe on our cars the wires aren't that bad in stock form?

try putting in some 100w bulbs that'll make it look brighter.

All those wire harnesses are is a thicker wire.... so you will be able to run a higher wattage bulb safer and maybe pull more current to make it a tad brighter

ya i know. maybe i should get osram silverstar? I'm not sure if its legal here tho... they're clear and look similar to the usa sylvania silverstar so they must be putting alot more light out.

just get ricer bulbs, gearbox. you know you want ricer bulbs.

well the stock headlights look slightly whiter (which means they're brighter) now that I've seen em side by side with other stock cars. so yay its a good mod.

so with this wire harness upgrade could you run the 4x mtecs without any problems??? how much are the harnesses? Are they really that helpful for higher wattage bulbs? I have TYCs in now, do they have anything for H1's? thanks

yes with the harness, you can safely run higher wattage without melting wires. But now the concern becomes melting your headlight. Especially with a small area in the projector, I've heard its best to use stock bulbs.

using the harness with regular watt bulbs will also make them brighter by increasing voltage as much as 2v, since stock wires are way too small.
