how to aim coupe 01-03 headlights up/down
after reading the DIY and other few threads, im still having trouble adjusting my OEM housings up/downward. on coupes, i seen an piece thats colored light brown/gold thats located right behind the headlamp itself and sits next to the rear of the bulb. looks like it needs a alen/hex key wrench to move that piece.
then theres the bolt that sits right at top and it doesnt nothing but tighten the headlight in place or loosen to remove the headlamp itself. seems like messing with this bolt wont do much for aiming.
the first 3 pics are from passenger side headlamp. you can see the hex key brownish piece and the bolt that screws on to of the headlamp assembly which does nothing
i also took the bolt out to show you where it connects and it looks like it just holds the headlamp in place?

the last 2 pics are the drivers side headlamp. its the exact same as the passenger but i took photos of it just in case.

can someone point me in the correct direction on how to aim my OEM housings higher? its a 01-03 coupe

use the allen key to turn the brownish piece. you stick it in through the hole on that top arm of the headlight where it says "U \_/ D"

so use a alen key wrench to hold the brown piece, and stick a phillips screwdriver in the gap underneath the bolt and twist left/right ?
will the brown piece move or should i be twisting the brown piece?

what?
no, just use the allen thing and stick it into the brown piece that is shaped to receive the allen thing. then twist it so the beam moves up or down

thanks infinite012, it really helped
. i agree with masarak, it should be a sticky or DIY to adjust headlights for OEM housings cause im sure i wasnt the only one with trouble aiming them on stock headlamps.
im curious to know what that wire is for? im guessing ground?
and why's your rubber circle boot loose as well?
and i cant believe the manual tells you to go seek a professional honda tech to aim headlights

the wire is a grounding wire for my HID ballasts. rubber boot is loose? i'm guessing you're talking about that thing to the right of my headlight. it's "loose" cause if it's pushed in any more, then my hood rattles.
and as for the last comment: yes, they (honda) just want your money.
