HID fuse
i just recently got and put D2 hid's in my car and it was blowing my stock headlight fuses. the 15's and i put 20's in there and it blew those also, a few people are like, dont' put anything higher than whats rated because i might fry the wires, so right now its hooked up to a switch and its hard wired... so my question is that, what fuse to use... the ballist says it uses 85w... what fuse do u guys think i should use?

85W ballast?...most i've ever heard of is 50W...and the projector ballasts that's commonly used is 35W.
perhaps you can have someone make you a harness to handle the power from the stock plug to the harness to the ballast plugs?...
or handle the power from the battery to the switch and ballast (which is what i'm assuming you have?)

as for your problem, hondaluver, do what everyone else is telling you to do: don't use a higher amp fuse because wires can only hold so much current before melting. the OE manufacturer rates the wires at 15 amps before something might happen, so stick with 15 amps. now that you know this, get a wiring harness made for you. make sure the harness has at least 16 gauge wiring.

well they are from a acura TL type S, the hids are very bright. i think they are 6300k, but they are pure white, no other random colors. i'll contact him soon then, let me just finish putting these casper HID turkey basters on and see the diffrent these sheilds make.
i had the same prob. w/ my fuses keep bein blown...... CHECK ur connections.. make sure none of the wires are touching w/ the others.. i cleaned up my connections n never had the problem since
