high-beam dash light half way on after diy wire harness WHY

can someone tell me why after i made my wire harness my high-beam light on the dash is half way on? and if i actually switch to high-beam then the light is fully on. i dont get it...its annoying im driving around and my friends in the car ask me why im driving with my highbeams on. could it be cause i dont have highbeams (retrofit) and somehow the car knows? lol

here is the diagram i followed to make my wire harness from hidplanet..

lol omg i think i fixed it, its cause the wire that "triggers" the relay was hooked up to the high beam socket.. i guess the car knows when it has no low-beams an automatically switches to high beam an thats why the dash light was on, cause the hid's were still firing up like normal, lol im retarded someone delete my post plz =[
