h1 HID wont fit in my TYC :/

I got an xtec H4 kit, and I bought some H1s off Ebay. I tried to get the H1s in and they wont.. its like there is this little piece for the wire of the bulb to fit thought but its blocked off... anyone know if you need to dremel this piece off ?

Right now I'm just running the H4s in my stocks so no rush.. and does anyone know an alternative spot to mount the drivers side ballast since CND water res is larger I can't really fit it beside there..

to fit HIDs in h1 housing, you have to drill out the hole a little... its a pain in the ***, but its not too bad..

search around and find out where people put the ballasts..

^here for example..

^^look around that thread.. when i got my HIDs i was posting like mad to get them in and helping other people with any problems they had installing them in their TYCs/h1 projectors.. (starting around post 335)
kinda sucks that the pics on that thread dont work anymore, but you'll find some good info there..

thats kewl, thats all I really needed to know if I needed to make it fit, or if it was just suppose to fit. As for mounting the ballast, i put my drivers side in the same spot as in that thread, I'm just worried bout water and stuff...

xtec ballasts are sealed and are waterproof/water resistant..
i've had my ballasts there since i put them in, no problems yet.. i had my passenger side one in a more vulnerable spot (until i found out how to put it there) and i have absolutely no problems so far..
