DIY 04-05 Clear Turn Signals
Alright im new to this DIY..but i just changed my nasty amber color turn signal to clear/blue
Ok first 1. You will need one phillips head screwdriver and two flat head screwdrivers to remove this ugly orange blinker. It also makes it easier to turn the wheels to one side when working on this.
..you need to buy the bulbs..which are 1157's....next locate your inner rubber fender wall..you will see a screw that is there..(its right by your front bumper..)

2. Remove the screw as shown in the pic. There is also a clip about 2 inches up from the screw that you will need to remove with the 2 flat head screwdrivers. You remove the clip the same way as with the clips from the front bumper.
3. Pull the side of the bumper just out of its holding clip as shown.

4. Now pull the wheel well plastic towards the wheel as shown. Look in the hole, and see where the "****" is at that holds the blinker bulb.

5. Reach in and turn the "****" to remove it from the headlight assembly.

6. Simply remove the bulb(which is an 1157 bulb) and replace it with your new one. I recommend wiping the new bulb off with something to remove fingerprints before you put the bulb back in the headlight!
7. After putting the bulb back in place, make sure the wheel well plastic is behind the lip of the bumper BEFORE trying to push the side of the bumper in.

8. Okay, now push the bumper back into it's holding clip. It will make a pop sound when you push it in place. Put the clip back in place and tighten the screw.

Bam your done..look at mine... Thank you skunk2civic..and you guys should give me rep!!!!! Check out my attachments for my results..

Looks nice! Good work man, they are a lot brighter now...is it really not legal to do that cause I'd like to do it on mine as well, and also where/ who can you get the bulbs from?
I think it'll look even better w/ blacked out headlights...

are you wearing a leather jacket while doing this? looks sunny out
.
hyper white LEDs let me down when they were in turn signal/brake light form...they weren't as bright and they tripped the sensor that thinks a light is busted. gearbox has experience with them also, ask him about it.
