i just finished re-wiring the entire trunk of my civic with an '04 wiring harness. I didn't feel like splicing wires and all that for fear of it ever coming apart or getting damaged. my only issue with it is that the ground for the 04 must attach facing the other way because my wiring is stretched out to make it turn around. i dunno... anyone with an 04/05 know which side of the ground bolt the pin is... is the pin of the left of the bolt or the right when looking at it standing behind the trunk

or you could have purchased power leads from radio shack like I did....2.38.....but...whatever works 3 monthe working fine.
