how long do these HID's last? I hear they don't burn out and just become really dim has anyone else's HID's become really dim? Do they gradually get dimmer as you use them?
The ballasts are supposed to last forever right?

bulbs will last a long time. ballasts should last an equally long time.
by "long time" i mean they should last appx 5 years, maybe longer.
