Installing headlight bulbs on 2004 civic

I have a 2004 civic and I want to change my headlight bulbs. I just poped open my hood and noticed that its very difficult to reach the drivers side headlight for the low beam. Its dark out but it doesnt seem that I can reach it with my hands because there are too many things in the way. Do you have to some how remove the whole headlight assembly to get to it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

there is a resevoir in the way with oil or something right? I dont remember exactly what its for put just pull up and wiggle a little bit and it will pop off its mount. Then move it to the side. Thats what I did. Just make sure to put it back before trying to close your hood.

you have to go through the fenderwall to reach parking light and turn signal. your manual explains in depth. Just take out the tab that holds it in with a flat screwdriver and bend the fenderwall back and you can reach it.

you can reach your stock bulbs. you "cant" reach if you dont try hard enough. drivers side has power steering pump (brown with red cap), pull that up and put it aside. Do not complete remove it just push it a little aside while you change the bulbs. if you have projectors just remember to use h1 bulbs. ooops, they dont have projectors for the 04s do they?

what do you mean? the headlight itself? u gotta remove bumper for that.
if you talking bout bulbs, ur hands must be big foots hands. its not tha t hard if you arent scared to get a couple scratches on ur hand.
