different TYCs
i have two sets of TYCs (just because...) and i noticed that one set of tyc has lines (grooves) on the bottom of the headlight, whereas the other set is smooth on the bottom. could it be a design enhancement with the lines? i ask this only because i'm curious. would one of the bezels perform better than the other?

where's the cheapest place to get these? i bought mine off ebay a while back. my car got hit (hit and run while parked in the street), and one of them is busted. i really liked these better than the stock ones and was wondering if i could find them anywhere cheaper than 170 (before shipping).

HIDs in the regular TYC projectors will be decent, but not nearly as bright/precise output as an OE projector (like BMWs, Mercedes, Audi, S2000, etc).
$115 on ebay. Some guy was selling them for $90 plus $25 shipping. No one else was jumping on the deal (cause the guy had like 98.5% positive feedback. Oohh spooky) so I bid and won. It was a long 3 days lol.

With halogen bulbs, you'll find yourself using the high beams more often than with stock headlights. I'm not sure about HIDs as I do not have my retrofit done.
