most aftermarket lights using seperate housings for low/high beams are H3 or H1, as long as the projectors you purchased are H3 there should not be a problem, just be aware that really only the TYC aftermarket lights really rival the OEM housings for ight output, so while with HID you may throw more light, the beam pattern may not be as good.

I have the McCuloch H4 Halogen High/HID Low kit in my stock housings and am more than pleased with the light output.

my projector uses h3 for low beam and h1 for high beam.
the main difference between h1 and h3 is just the base. you can basically cut out a small part of a h1 base to make it fit into a h3 based housing and vise versa. For the halogen bulb i believe h1 is slightly longer, but for HID i guess that doesn't matter since they would probably be the same length.
