They arent that hard to install. You just hook up the wiring to the ballast and then to the headlight connecter.

Hooking the kit up is easy... But how do you get the bulb to stay in the headlight and have the plastic cover on? I have a 2001 Coupe, and the metal picece that holds the bulb in gets in the way of the wires... I know the metal piece on the Sedan is different and is half like a hook... Is there a way I can unhook it on the Coupe or something? Then put the bulb in?

Sorry if you guys don't know what I'm talking about... Thanks!

if you got the right size bulb.. which i assume u got stock headlight... then you should have a HID bulb with a H4 base.. you just change the bulbs like you normally would with stock bulbs... it should hook back up the same as stock... as for the plastic cover, u can either "customize" the cover so it would fit or just use some electrical tape to cover the back.

Yes I got the stock headlights with the H4 base... The HID bulb fits in the headlight, but the metal locking thing that secures the bulb in place hits the wires... So there's no way I can get the bulb to lock up in place...

Ok, here's the pic... I don't have a pic of my headlight because it's on my car and it's too hard to get a pic of. But this is a Sedan headlight... The metal piece that I'm talking about is highlighted in Red. But on the Coupe, it's a different metal picece that holds the bulb in... There's no way I can get around it without hitting the wires when I install the HID bulbs...

well, sound is really strange.I have coupe and the headlights are different, but any way, what I can suggest is drill a small hole in the housing and everything will be ok.
Otherwise could you shot pics of the HID bulb with wires go to the ballast and take your H4 bulbs out of the housing and lemme see whats worng.

Yes I know the coupe headlights are different because I said I have a coupe headlight too, but the headlights I'm showing are the sedan headlights... I didn't feel like taking my coupe headlights out...

All I'm saying now is there's no way I can get around the metal clip(the clip that holds the bulb in) with the wires from the HID bulbs...

So my question is, how do you get the HID bulbs to stay in place in a 2001 coupe headlight?

Can I just unhook the clip and hook it back after to hold the bulbs in?

Now this is the best I can explain my situation...

Thank you!

if you got the right H4 HID bulbs as I assume you shouldnt have any problem with any wires go out from the rebased HID bulb. The coupe has a metal clip holding the bulb in and it will allow you quite easy to use any rebased H4 HID bulb.If you bulb doesnt fit into the housing, it means youve got the wrong bulbs, period. Shot a pic of you HID bulb, I`ll see it

There's nothing wrong with the fitting of the bulb into the housing... I just can't close it cause it will close on the wires... I can't just can't unhook the wires from the bulb...

Actually, nevermind... I'll figure something out... Thanks.
