Does this DIY headlight brightening work for us?

i saw this on kseries.com

How exactly does it work? Does it really allow for use of higher wattage bulbs without harming the factory wires? Does higher wattage bulbs produce more light?

wonderz is on a distinguished road
this basically just upgrades your wires for the lights. higher watt bulbs does produce more light, but they burn out faster too. i am not sure how many people actually got their factory wires melted... 'cause i used to have 100watt bulbs, and nothing happened.
