Get 4-5k or you won't have em long enough to enjoy. Impulse sells some that are good quality. Xtec brand with glare shield for stock housing headlights. He can get other kinds too.

for a good price to I jammed my ballast on the sides of the engine, its tough to describe
when you close the hood you know that line that seperates your fender and hood, well its jammed under the fender with about a cm sticking out, fits in nice, no zip ties needed

Allstock cars come with pure white 4-5k color temp. The way they appear is due to the oem housing. You can't get them to look like that unless you do a retrofit of hids from another car.

Well if you don't retrofit, the only way to change the color is to get an aftermarket kit with a different color. White 4-5k range has the most light output. You can get higher color temp that will be blue or purple, but they won't be as bright.
just my 2`c: all cars come with 4100 or 6000K range and the way they appear is due to the oem housing - projector lenses, just FYI. If you dont want to be catch by cops, dont go over 6K. You will never get the OEM cutoff line and will always keep a glare, even if you`ll have the casper shields. The best way is to replace halogen projectors into HID projectors.FYI it doesnt cost lots of money. s2K has 4100 and Valeo projectors make those purple color that every1 likes.
get the TYC and replace projectors, OEM ballast and valeo projectors cost around 300 + TYC + labor and you`ll get you want! It is lil bit more than aftermarket HID kit plug-&-pay (not play) LOL
