I really like my sylvania cool blues. They were reasonable in price. They look good, much whiter, no yellow, with a hint of blue/white. They don't blind people like whites that are too bright! They don't attract too much attention. Perfect , and from what I hear they last for a good while.

Haha, but they're right. You can see better at night with stock bulbs. But my cool blue did last at least 2 years after being dropped and cooked in the oven.

going to need to find some projectors and put a lens from a real HID system.
and thats $400 cdn so $320 american
if you think about it bulbs have 5 year warrentys on em so...
I spend $30 a bulb on Silverstars twice a year for two headlights
thats $120 a year. For me that and the fact that I dont have to go to the store buy a light put in a light (which I usually dont have time for) was wroth it. Buying a new silverstar was almost 10% of the cost of HID's. So I spent a little on myself
Plus every time i drive I apprecaite those lights, frankly I think your lights are a waste because your spending more on blubs that dont preform as well, dont last as long, and dont do ANYTHING for lighting except make it worse in night fog rain and snow. What did you really get acomplished for your $60? A little bit whiter of an effect? and when do you EVER look at your headlights? that seems like a waste to me. Make no mistake your headlights no matter how cool blue or super white you may think they are, put em against my hids and there still YELLOW!!!
:P
Hope your not gettin upset, im just loving HID's

>< to buying H11 HID fog lights too
oh and dont fool yourself, cops (especially with reflective housing HID's) light up like 6 times faster then with regular lights. I already saved my *** a speeding ticket because of it
its werid, normally you see em reflect too late, ever see the news reports when they got a lot of light and all the cop cars are light up and ambulances, thats what they look like for me when I point my lights at em
btw

to convince you to buy hids

talk to impulse he knows his ****.
I would avoid 8000k, you may be geting more blue color but less light output, 6000k if you want a slight purple tinge
I saw this mustang the other day, not sure what temp of bulbs it was using but the light infront of it was really damn purple, Id say I liked my white better
