01-03 headlight lenses

Are there companies out there that actually just sell the headlight lenses? Not the entire assembly. I believe I have seen it somewhere online, but cannot find it now. I went to the dealer, and they said they only sell the entire headlight, at $220 each. Can anyone help me out here?

don't think i've seen just that for sale. but you you go to auto body parts online, you can buy the full headlight assembly for $160.95 which is much cheaper that from the dealer. thats about all i can recommend.

I am still pretty sure Ive seen a site that sells JUST the lens, and not the whole assembly. I will search harder and post it here in case anyone else needed it.

A stupid overpriced PIAA hyper white bulb blew up in my housing and made the lens milky white. plus my lenses have all these tiny little cracks in them. they arent as clear as they used to be.

You might want to look at a product called Meguiar's PlastX. It's great for removing oxidation and filling in cracks. It may clean up the lenses, if you can get inside them.

Ill sell you both my whole headlight assemblies that have been cleared. I still have the orange lens if you want along with a set of Sylvania Silverstar bulbs barely used. $80 plus shipping.

just get a set from a member of this site. I've seen plenty of people selling their oem headlights (or aftermarket) for under 100shipped. better than 118each....

Agreed if you can find someone whos willing to sell a used set cheap enough then thats clearly the way to go. I just figured you wanted new. Also if you plan on taking the lense off you may wanna just try cleaning it. It may just be residue that'll come off with soap and water...that won't help with the cracks though.

The lenses ARE diffenerent. My HID's made my Sonar projector lenses peel. I contacted the in Japan even and they wouldn't sell me just the lense. I bought another set of headlights. Worked out well though cuz I had dual halos on the car months before they came out with em. Now I have OEM lights and I retrofitted my HIDs into them. Looks WAY cleaner

I messed my lenses up when I blacked my stock heads.. I put them together too quick after I used a low gloss engine enamel to black them out. So now I think I perminantly messed the plastic because it's all hazy and stuff.. Unless someone thinks PlastX will clear that up? I doubt it can give me all the clarity back.
