RECALL on headlight switch
Dude, if you bought the car new, you should really check your mail. But let us assume you just bought the car used, since you are a new member.
I will tell you that all 2001 Civics have a recall on them. It seems the headlight switch burns out and the low beams quit working.
Mine was fine, no burns, but I took it in anyway. They will replace the switch and repair any burned wires on the switch for free. Just call your local dealer, tell them you need your car checked for the head light switch. You don't need any papers, just make an appointment, take it in, get it fixed for free.
