halo (angel eyes)
How good are they? Better light projection than the stock headlights? I'm thinking about getting a set with the black housing but a friend told me the stocks project better.

Rep Power: 0 The halos (angel eyes) are the rings around the lights. The projectors are the sources of light, but I hear that OEM is better if you are not intending on using HIDs.

if you only want to see 50 feet infront of you then go with the halos but . OEMs are way better i just wish i still had mine.. plus the "halos" go out

Angel eyes are for looks, HID is for light.
