Dual Halos are the BEST headlights
Dual Halos are the BEST headlights
hi all, have fitted my dual halos for over 3 months and must say they are the best headlights around for the 7thgen. Brighter and cheaper than TYCs and even stock headlights! i m not kidding have done comparison and they are definitely brighter in both cases.

Heyyy..... those would look pretty good on a SSM coupe..... what are they? Got a URL?
I'm still looking for a "semi stock" look. Clean, and not too obvious.

I had some projectors and you have to worry about aligning them and then if a bulb goes out you have to worry about changing it! You have to practically take out the entire housing to change a bulb. Don't get me wrong they do look in your pic's!
dual halos
i made a comparison btw stock / TYC / dual halos...dual halos beat them all in terms of looks n brightness. I M NOT KIDDING. I was actually blinding drivers on the road before i adjusted down my headlights.
you can see the 2 beams in front of you wherever u drive at nite...it's so cool!
after buying them thur ebay i place silicon all round the seal to prevent them from leaking...this is a must...just in case.
lastly i also thought stock lights were the best till i tried these. not smoking you but it'sa surprised to me as well. I had them installed professionally (USD50) with new relays ...this way when i high beam all the lights will stay on. direct plug n play, driving lights will go off when u high beam.

I just stated that if you have all of them aimed in the correct pattern, the tyc's make better light..IMO anyways, Sure you could have the halos aimed a little higher than the others, so of coarse your going to get better light.

Stupid HID ricers around here all have tons of glare. I don't know if it's the kit or that they aim high on purpose. I have to close my eyes almost to keep from getting blinded. Please aim your headlights! You can still see the road if they're aimed right.

Im with GearBox, AIM the damn headlights
Whenever I see some dude with his lights hitting the sky, I pull behind him and turn on my high beams and crawl behind him
HAHA... There's a guy with a ricey accord that lives down the street from me. Every time I meet him at the stop sign at the front of our neighborhood I want to flip him the bird 10 ft in the air so he can see it good, but i just squint really hard and try and hold back.
Oh yea, and also, I'm guessing the lights are easy to aim. I've never dealt with headlights before. Does it require any tools or is it simple moving something with your fingers?
Also, what lights are illegal? Do they have to contain a yellow piece? Any where I can find out laws like that in Texas? I might have to go look in the legal forum.

All vehicles must have an orange reflector on the front sides of the car or in the headlight. Turn signals can be any color between white and orange in most states.
Aiming headlights involves using a screwdriver to turn a gear. The hardest part I guess is opening the hood and finding a wall.
So far I've seen a riced out 01 sedan with projectors and ricer blue hids that are blindingly bright, a newer accord with hid in stock housing (tons of glare), an old POS car with purple hids (also glare), and an older civic hatch with oem hids (aimed--thank you). Most people that have them don't bother aiming or don't care, or the kit just sucks.

Yea! I have that problem with my hids! It aims up high to the left and i get flashed a lot. I tried adjusting them but no matter how hard i tried it was still the same. I even took it to a place and the guy said its the hid kit.
I found deadkookabura's review on dual halos very helpful and promising and I went for them but unfortunately one of the headlights absolutely did not fit my car, I tried my best before I found out that on the back of the light it requires some trimming, I believe they were defective or at least something was on the way that I overlooked. Oh well...don't mean to discourage anyone from getting them it's an aftermarket part anyway don't expect a 100% fitment. Cheers
