I Have to push a button to turn on indiglo gauges
I bought these $17 reverse indiglo gauges off ebay. I am happy with how they look and how they look lit up, but I am disappointed because in order to turn them on, I need to push the on/off button which came with the gauges. I know this is going to annoy me, as I will have to first turn on the light switch, then dig into my change drawer, where I placed the on/off switch to turn it on. Is there any way that I can modify the wiring so that the gauges automatically turn on when I switch the lights on, and bypass having to use the on/off switch that came with the indiglos? I tapped the red (non-ground) wire into the red/black wire in the blue harness. Help Please!

ololol Get a wiring diagram for your OEM guage cluster, find the wires that activiate the illumination in that, and tap them instead of running wire to a switch.
To the moron that said "owned" why is he "owned" because he didnt know what a relay was?

tap the power wire for the gauges into the plug that goes on the left side (when youre facing it as a driver) of the gauge cluster. I think the wire is red with a black stripe that you need to tap into (double check the wiring diagram on this website). Then I just put the ground from the indiglo's on one of the mounting screws for the gauge cluster. Works like a dream!

Cut the wires going to the switch and straight wire them, then hook the main power into any wire that has power when you turn on the lights
