Day time running lights
Day time running lights
This is a pretty low tech question. I have a 04 Civic and I would like to have the day time running lights on as the Canadian models have. I assume as the car was built in Canada for both countries it’s an easy fix.
Thanks,
Bill

I probably don’t fit the demographic profile that this web sites targets but I love my Civic and this is a great resourse for information. I want DRL is strictly for a safety reasons.
If it’s any consolation my brother and I are working on his Si!

check your manual for the fuse listing under the steering wheel. If there is a place for your DRL fuse, all you have to do is put one in and you're done. My 01 civic has the DRL fuse second from the left in the top row. However, I doubt that it would be as easy as putting a fuse in.
I got the wiring diagram from Honda today, and it seems a lot more complicated than just putting a fuse in (as you've discovered). But I've seen a lot of DYI on how to install DRLs online, just search arround.
