Which is the BRIGHTEST projector headlights?

Hi i have installed TYC projector headlights for my 03 civic EX. however they are dimmer than my previous stock ones. I m thinking of changing them to another brand besides TYC. Appreciate if bros here can recommend a projector light which is as bright as stock or if not brighter.

Thank you!

TYC is probably the best you'll find. Have they been properly aimed after install? I think projectors will always be dimmer than stock unless you throw on some HIDs.

Umm, Catz HID kit anyone? Seriously, it may be a little brighter than it is now if you change the bulb, something such as an MTEC or PIAA, some superwhite etc. And make sure you get them aimed properly. It's still not gonna be as bright as the OEM lens, regardless.

Reason why aftermarket projectors suck is because:

a) The light isn't concentrated like stock and
b) The bulbs used in aftermarket projectors suck. The type of bulb is very important when it comes to seeing at night.

You could throw in HIDs...

You can try philips vision plus bulbs. They're supposed to be brighter than stock, although they don't have that white look. More like stock, which is better for visibility.

yo, one time i was in my room last night from like 9pm-12am... and i couldnt sleep... I just had my eyes open the whole time, dono why but like, I was then able to see in the dark. So, im walkin around the house and i can basically see like everything cause my pupils are like the size of my eyeball. And then i have to go to the bathroom, and it was too dark for me to see, so i had to turn on the light...

omfg, i was like blind for 5 minutes :x very bad...

^ Just one of those life lessons Introduce light very slowly, LOL

Those bulbs are a little whiter than stock. Surely enough you won't tell by looking at the headlight, but if you compare it hitting a wall then the Phillips is brighter and whiter. The difference however, is nothing to grin about in terms of color.

it's not the bulb's fault for the crappy light output of aftermarket projectors

blame the fact that the projectors were made cheaply, compare a real projector to the projector from a tyc, it's night and day the difference

my tyc are bright too ^_^
