Hey, recently became interested in getting rid of the amber bulbs in my 04 civic. I want clear or blue corner bulbs...problem is I cannot seem to find out what type of bulb goes in the corners on my 04...anyone know? Ive seen pics with corner bulbs in 04's but cannot find answers......

according to this site, the bulb is 1157... however that is a twist type bulb (push and twist the bulb in/out)... and that info might not be accurate...

on the 01-03's, the turn signal bulbs are 7443 which is wedge type (pop the bulb in/out, no twisting involved)...

so i guess the only way to really find out is to take out the bulb itself and take it to a shop that sells aftermarket bulbs... or maybe another 04 owner can enlighten us..

According to my personal experience, you won't be able to find any amber 7443 bulbs in regular auto parts store (e.g. AutoZone and Kragan). However, there are 1157 double filaments amber bulbs available everywhere. Since amber 7443 wouldn't easily be found in store, those twist-and-pop 1157 bulbs are still the main stream bulbs used on cleared factory headlight.

Go get a clear or hyper white 1157 bulb. Got clear ones at Autozone. Look way better than the amber colored ones. Easy install in my 04 Coupe
