7th gen LED conversion... still looking for help
I saw a while back a civic with all of the dash, console and shifter lights converted to blue. Now, I've looked everywhere and found nothing but broken or dead links, or lack of info/pictures on how to do this. I've heard you can get special sleeves for the bulbs, but as for where to get them; That's another story..
So can anyone help on this subject? I would like to do it as a project this week.

for the center dash only,
I got 4, 5mm Blue LED 3.7volt - 20mA - 2600mcd
5 Resistors, 390-Ohm - 1/2 watt - 5% tolerance

You dont need LED Holders.

yeah i saw it on ebay, its pretty much the same thing that impulse has, only its from a company called 99accord or something like that, i havnt gotten it in the mail yet, it should be here tomorrow or the next day but ill let u know how it goes
Ive done the led conversion kit from 99accord. Its nice, but they blue wasnt the same with the 5 and 3 mm leds. So i ended up ordering leds from superbrightleds.com and doing the Led conversion DIY. Very nice. Gearbox has a couple DiY's, I'll seee if i can find em for you. Good luck on your project

If anyone else is interested in a kit, I stand behind my products, and will work out any problems you may have.

Im, not quite sure. The ac/defrost/recycle buttons use the 3mm. The color was a little different and was darker, almost a purple. I still have the kit u provided all soldered up. But the second time i did it, i just used 5 mm for all the buttons.
Probably got it from me. I am glad you like it.
Vinnie: I am not sure why they looked different. I am thinking about just using 5mm LEDs for the whole thing like you did.
