Is my HID bulb burning out?

While only a few here can probably answer this, I'll try anyway. I have the Audi S4 HID's in my car and tonight my passenger bulb went from normal white to a very obvious purple glow. This was after I had been driving and the bulbs were warm. I could turn off the lights, unplug it, etc. Nothing changed. Anybody have any history of a single bulb changing colors like this. These are factory bulbs.

isnt it supposed to do that when its heating up?
my does the same thing.. but it just turned super blue for like 30 seconds then goes white

I solved it. It was the bulb. I tried a new one at BMW. I have a new post with pics
