HID is definitely worth it.
If you don't have 400 bucks, get a pair of EDM OSRAM (not USDM sylvania crap) Silverstar bulbs. They're the same company, but different product. The Osram's are clear with the hyper white output like the other bulbs someone posted on the first page. suvlights.com carries it, and some others probably do also.

He keep posting how he need to replace bulbs in few weeks, because aftermarket bulbs don't last long enough.
Why not get HID conversion in the first place.
That is why i recommanded him to go with HID conversion.

yea... I definitely would!! I just couldn't afford $400+ for now... and at the same time.. I need a new bulbs.. I can't drive with no lights at night LOL... so just probably save up for HID while getting new aftermarket bulbs.. waste of money I would say... my GF's couzing is getting HID for his car...
I want HID so bad it's not even funny.
Until then, I have PIAA Superwhites. The first pair lastest me 11 months, and I got a new set for free since they were warrantied for 12 months. Sweet deal. 2 for 1

Just put 2 sets of the PIAA Blue Plasma Spark 7500k Bulbs in mine. 1 set went into the projector and 1 in the Hi beam. Look nice. Too bad they're not street legal... but oh well. Rather they look good than worry about a ticket for damn bulbs.
I have a question for people who have lights that keep burning out. Do you run your lights on during the day as well as night? My Phillips Blue Vision Ultra 4000k seems to be running fine so far, and the funny part is, I am also using TYC projectors (I never had to seal my projectors either).
I must admit that I rarely ever turn my headlights on during the day. I also live in FL by the way. It's really damned humid and hot, and I'm surprised my lights haven't been destroyed.

Also, I bought my light bulbs from
http://www.autolamps-online.com/index.htm
My friend bought the Osram Silverstars at
http://www.powerbulbs.com/
Both sites are based in the UK.

anyone know if there is such thing as a H1 with double filaments? for my high beam in my angel eye projectors? because with out the 2 filaments, they are off when running normal beam, and only come one when brights are turned on. If I could find a double filament H1, it would work all the time, a low beam (only one filament) and high (both filaments). And it would look damn good I think.

^^ yea I wonder.... to that previous question.. when driving during the day.. I don't turn on my headlights.... if it turns on automatically that's fine like those bmw's and some luxury cars... but with my civic.. nah.. I am using sylvaster they're pretty bright compare those nokyas.. I like them...
I am somehow lead to believe that some people are in fact running their headlights all the time. That's cool and all, but we definately do not have the automatic lighting as seen on the luxury cars.
Whether stock or projector, our standard, non-hid light bulbs can't last as long as the real HID setups.
Would anyone else like to fill me in as to how they run their headlights?

for a little clarification on my question above... i was talking about when i turn my headlights on with the switch on the column... i don't leave them running all the time... i was talking about how i want an H1 bulb that has a high and low in it (hence the 2 filaments) as opposed to having one high and one low...

oh yea, when you get bulbs... never ever touch the bulb itself. it WILL make your headlight go out again.
and i say go for it if you think 5000k is enough. just hope you dont get caught up with it eventhough theirs factory hids out their that are way brighter (new acuras/bmws/mb/etc).
post sum pics if u get em tho =)
