1. if the peice covering the light is red then there is not much you can do to change the overall color.
2. if you don't mind snipping and reconnecting some wires then it would be fairly easy to change those
3. I agree with you there
4. ?

the pic you posted jttegx are european tails, from a uk dm civic coupe. you could possibly get someone to ship you a set from over there. as far as the04 tails on an 01-03, yes, its possible. fitament is the same. the wiring/bulbs is where its different. the 04 tails have 3 bulbs vs the 01-03 have 4 bulbs. the 03's get rid of the sidemarker on the 01-03. you can modify your existing wiring to make it work. the turn signal bulb is a diff size, so you'd have to change it entirely to make it work. there is a topic on this same page that i posted in that covers this. as far as switching the bulbs to make the lamps in a diff place, you'd have to switch the bulb harnesses so that the bulbs will fit in the places you want them (they have screw in plugs that will have to be switched with bulb size so they will fit) thats kind of a vague description, if you need more detail on switching bulb placement, i could provide that.
