so what is the final price to get them to work properly and the lights themselves?
The lights are $98 each. $216 shipped for the lights, but the harness I will not know what the price is until it comes in from Honda, which is next Saturday.

how are people dealing the wiring harness being different, are they able to change it or do they actually get them to work?
I did mine by switching the entire harness (the one to each tail, and the wiring that goes across the back. I got the tails, and the harness from my honda dealer. The tails were $230, and the harness $105 with bulbs. You could feasibly just switch the blinker harness to the 04 size, and cut off the 01-03 sidemarker, and heat shrink some tubing over the end to seal it off. But I felt I wanted to do it the easiest way I could, and be able to keep it clean. Which is why I bought the entire harness. Whatever works best for you. Also, I saw a set on ebay the other day for $75, which is what the bid was at with 12 hours left. Shipping was like $30 on them.

The UK taillights are directly bolt in and requires no modification at all. The only difference is that the UKDM taillights don't have the side marker lights but can be done by DIY. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...ght=taillights
This post tells you how to do it. It doesn't really matter if you want to do it or not.

Wow. I wish I would have seen this post earlier. I snagged my 04 tail off of eBay for about 60 shipped. It was an AWESOME deal. I just happened to spot them right after they'd been listed and used BUY IT NOW. Anyways, I've been driving without blinkers and heres the reason: The 04 lights have a different signal bulb. Now normally you'd think "just buy a new bulb". Wrong. All of the bulbs sit inside of the bulb plug, which is what the harness plugs into. The reason that the plug is important is because out lights are the kind that you insert and turn to lock into place. You cannot buy the plugs alone and thus you have to purchase the entire harness. Employee cost is still 56 bucks. The harness plugs into the main harness inside the trunk, just behind the passenger tire. From there it rides along the quarter panel to the passenger tail and then to the drivers. I still haven't fixed mine, but I'll simply find another plug I can use and rig it to stay and use t-taps to plug into the old harness. Or simply go look in your local junkyards for a wrecked one and snip the plugs off of the factory harness. (If you can spot a wrecked 04) OK I'm done goodnight.

IF and only IF the plugs actually still plug into the designated location, then remove the actual cover (lens) from the outside and connect the bulbs from within (shouldn't be too hard). BUT first tell me if they still "plug" into the desired hole.
