lighting problems
Hello everyone
in the past 3 months i have lost a couple of bulbs. First, one of the fillaments in my left front turning-signal bulb goes loose (only sometimes would it light-up), then, my left rear turning-signal goes out and I have to buy a new bulb. Then my left headlight goes out, got that fixed, now my right headlight went out, got it replaced. While I drove my car into my garage to fix the right headlight, my girlfriend points out to me that my right brake light is out. uhh... what's goin on..???
thx in advance

no, never touch the bulb with your fingers :x
the oil gets on the bulb, and when the bulb get turned on the oil burns on the light and will **** it up :x
dont touch the actual bulb.. u can touch the metal prong thingies

Agreed on using alcohol for a cleaning solution. Also agreed that touching the glass surface of the bulb is a bad idea. Clean cotton ***** or q-tips for small jobs works as a wiper.
Blue bulbs also tend to die much faster than OEM bulbs do. If you are using aftermarket blue/generic bulbs, that could be a big part of the problem. Switch to OEM bulbs, install turn signals using a clean towel and headlight bulbs by the base without touching the glass.
If you continue to have the same problems after putting in OEM bulbs and not touching them take it back to the dealer.
