I used a 2600CDM LED bulb (brightest available) with a 5% 220ohm, 1/2W resistor.

You should be able to see them fine during the day. Something is wrong. I used the 2600mcd blue LEDs with a 680ohm resistor soldered before the positive lead wire. That's really it. You can have up to three installed like this in series without dimming the light.

Might have been the soldering job, I soldered one up close to the bulb, any possibilities that I messed that up by soldering up close to the bulb?

Not really. If you held the soldering iron on the leads for more than 1-2 seconds, you may have burned out the resistor or LED.

Remember that not enough resistance will burn out the LED. Too much will just make it dimmer. Extreme heat can change the resistor. You can try just taping the wires together first. Then you know it's your soldering job.

Exclamation Still Not Working!!!

I soldered it perfectly this time, and used a smaller wire, but still ain't workin... I think I'll get a 12v connection somewhere else aside from the PARKING LIGHT wires that I've been using... Will that be possible and not blow and or fry anything up?
