heat gun is about 35$ at home depot or somewhere. you will use it alot i love mine. i think its not very smart to stick anything except for food or my head in the oven...
and if you where to paint the inside of the tails it wouldnt match . i'd just stay wit one overall finish

You spray it as a regular spray paint.. the more coat you give.. the darker you will get...

search Ebay.. they have a bunch of them over there.. for like only $5 atleast.. I was gonna do that.. but I already have the taillights when I found out...

when in this process do you sand? and why?

and no one has had issues with the oven part of this process?
i mean the oven (if done properly) hasn't cracked or damaged anyone's lights?

You spray it on the outside. No need to take your lights apart.

anybody ever though of vinyl overlays?? http://www.bluebatmobile.com this dude makes em for a few cars but not the 7thgen civic but i'm not sure. its looks pretty nice and i'm thinking of masking some parts of my sedan taillight so that it'll add some contrast to the circular part of the 04 sedan tails.
