Well you dun wanna over do it with a 100shot or nothing lol not even a 75 shot , for a stock one maybe that's why with a 7thgen you might just wanna use a 35 shot that's it but they say you can still blow your motor!! But hey our engines are so cheap just buy 2 of them just in case ya do!!! HEHEHEHEHE
By the way it's also good to get some internals done to if you wanna get a higher shot !!
ok...im asking, whats the best way to increase your HP without turbo OR nitrous...i.e. naturally aspirated....how much would it cost and how much can I increase it?
and with turbo you get that neat sound that the turbo makes...and you can say your car is turbo...and you have the intercooler, gives you the intimidation factor.

build the entire motor, higher compression pistons, rods, stock crank is fine, build the head, springs, valves, retainers, port polish head, basic bolt ons
go with a turbo or nitrous or both. thats what I did. I was running a 50 shot for about a year and a half. Now with a turbo I dropped it down to a 35 shot for a little extra at the track.

Oh yea if any doubt's me I'll be willing to argue
lmao... idiot... 275 ? what motor are u talking about ? a k20 puts down 220 to the crank.. not to the wheels... WHAT NA engine in our cars makes 275 please fill me in you 14 year old.
i dont think its 275whp...but more like 250whp. Its been done many times on clubrsx.com. The Toda kit on a RSX-S gets good numbers. Hytech has a kit that makes over 300whp NA for the RSX-S.
I will confirm the whp number for the Toda kit right now. But i am 100% sure on the number for the Hytech kit is over 300whp.
ok, we were both wrong...225whp on the TODA kit. check it out at www.todaracing.com. raises redline to 9000rpm. You can almost get the same results from the DC5R Cams, DC5R Intake Manifold, DC5R Hondata Flash, CAI, and Exhaust. That nets 215whp without a race header. With the race header, that would put you around 225whp. The Toda kit uses their race header to get that number.
Hytechs kit is a complete rebuild, and costs somewhere around 8-10grand. But over 300whp is nothing to be ashaimed about. If i were gonna go that high on my swap, i would just do a stage 1 turbo kit and be done with it. But i think im just gonna go the cams, intake manifold, reflash route and be happy with mid 13s NA.
The K20A2 I am refering to puts down 200hp to the crank. Sorry buddy. So it's about 170-180 (ball park) to the wheels. And trust me 275 is not a hard thing to achive. Think if just Cam shafts, Intake, ECU, and Exaust can get you 50 hp. Obtaining another 50 more with a Stroker Kit (Top Fuel makes it a 2.4 Liter), Intake Manifold, Boring and Sleeving, Pistons, Cam Gears, and fine tuning wouldn't be that hard. Don't be such an ass have an open mind.

i have an open mind.. i just know more then u ... stating that TODA KIT is gonna get u over 90whp from the orignal 180whp on a type s .. is far fetched is all.
I have no doubt you know more than me. I wasn't saying that the TODA stuff was going to get you 90 whp. I was just saying that you would need taht stuff for the basics and some fine dyno tuning and working on the block would get it up there. At first I was going to post the HP numbers for all of the stuff and then I was like "oh wait you don't want to sound like a dumbass cause some of that stuff is bound to be wrong" so I didn't. lol
