If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

*Thread moved, no need to revive a 9 year old dead thread.*

What makes you think it's got anything to do with the immobilizer?
What clues do you see?
What DOES happen when it won't start?

Green light is supposed to flash whenever you turn the key off.

If the green light flashes angrily while cranking the engine, that's a problem.

Re: Dead battery, need to reset immobilizer?

I know some immobilizers can misread the key or not communicate correctly if the battery voltage goes too low, but you say it's a new battery? Is it still fully charged?

can I jump the battery
Yes, connect it to jump but allow it time to charge up the battery before trying to start it.
