i need help bad

01 civic dx when i go over bumps i get a clunk from right rear? no sway bar what would be clunking over bumps? i can push down on trunk and make clunk happen but its not as loud?

Possibly the rear lower strut mount bushing. Jack the back of the car and inspect the rear strut assembly. Also make sure the top hats are tight, bolts are located in the trunk.

I'd recommend buying a $2 stethoscope from Harbor Freight ($10 at Autozone) and getting a buddy to replicate the sound while you are under there and can pinpoint what it is. If it is too low or tight then back up your car onto some plywood or something sturdy so you can get under there. I've found almost all my suspension issues this way. Why guess? Find the exact issue and save time...

I tried one of theirs, it's crap. If the Zone has the same brand item, it's crap too.
