Burning smell comming out of my 2004 E Hello,
I have a 2004 Civc EX and lately I noticed a weird smell is comming from my heater. Initally it was like a burning smell (like a wire burning) then for a couple of days it smelled sweet and now it's not sweet but it's back to the burning smell. What is wrong with my car? I live in a really cold place and I turn the heat to the max and it's only recently that I've been getting that smell. Can someone please tell me what's going on? What needs to be replaced and what will this cost me (on a ball park) and most importantly is this dangerous? Is it ok to drive around without turning the heat on?
