Hey guys.. today was the worst day ever. My 2001 honda civic lx 1.7 vtec engine automatic which ive had for 9 years transmission gave out.. I love this car so much.. I had a tough life without parents and this was the first car i worked two jobs to pay off just to be able to enjoy life. I really want to fix it badly without payign the world to take out the transmission and replace it ... I would prefer to find a honda tranny instead of rebuilding .. but whatever.. I was asking if anyone knew how to remove a 2001 honda lx transmission ... from top or bottom... if its automatic does it make a difference? Im pretty good with cars. i know how to do many mechanical changes oil / sparks/ sensor changes/ many other things but ive never tried something as hard as transmission changing.. Im sort of dumb when it comes to part names for im not a mechanic... but can anyone help ? does any one know of a video i can possibly watch or ... anythign? anything will help ... sorry im really blue about this...
