Hello New member here with a 94 civic 1.5 (J) Auto. B bought the car not running..169k and animals chewed the injector harness. Temp fixed the harness took about 40 min of cranking with foot to the floor before it fired off and ran on its own. Bought a salvage harness and installed it.. got to last plug on top of intake for map sensor and no more wire harness plugs..... so I pull harness back out. Checked old harness and found I could repined and add the pigtail I needed. Did it and car fires right up and idles great...hit the gas and only 3100 rpm and bounces like it on a review limiter.. jacked one tire and it does the same thing in gear..max of 3100 rpm. So I have a code 7 and 19.. trans lockup and crank sensor in the distance. Dist looks new..added new plugs and wires. Car doesn't seem to rev up fast..maybe 70%.
What else should I check . Car won't shift smooth either..gets to about 3100 and you have to back off accelerator and it will shift.(sorta hard.)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
