2000 civic rear oxygen sensor installation

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-DENSO-OE...item5891150bc9

I replaced my catalytic converter last night. Car is running great now. I do need a new o2 sensor though. I looked online last night looking for the best price as right now I am on a budget. I found the above on ebay.

Will this be a direct fit for my 2000 civic ex d16y8 motor 5speed MT?

Also once I removed the old o2 sensor out of the top of the catalytic converter, can someone tell me how to unplug and plug in the new one?

Thanks so much in advance, you are all so helpful

Well if anything; here's a selection. I'm aware you mentioned you're using a y8 and the Ebay listing was of a different product code from that found in this list:

I cant afford the rockauto ones. I'm on a budget. Rock auto has the Standard SG614 and the ebay auction i left the link to states these are the part #'s for it:

DENSO # 234-4098, 2344098
HONDA # 35532P2PA01, 36532P2PA01
STANDARD (SMP) # SG614

Where did you see a different product code? I enter my car details and it says it fits and the stock interchange # it states is "35532P2PA01" which is the part # i got off Majestic Honda Parts?

Nick, I am a product specialist with Walker Products, a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of oxygen sensors. The Ebay part is the correct, direct fit part for your downstream O2. All you should have to do is unplug the old one and plug in the new, very simple.

I don't have an answer for you, but I have a similar issue with my 1999 Si 187k. I was wondering where you got your cat from and how much it cost? Is it necessary to replace the cat if the o2 sensor inside is bad?
