unknown plug

i was changing a lightbulb today and noticed this plug. it's on the same loom as the turnsignal/running light. but is taped with blue tape to the harness. fairly thick wire mabye 16-14 gauge. one pin conector with blue/red stripe.
anyone know what it's for? foglights?

BTW it's a 02 EX coupe

heres a pic of what i'm talking about

stick a test light in it and turn the headlights on. if the test light doesnt light up, try the turn signals.

That's the wire you use if you buy the OEM foglight kit, it will plug into the wire going to the foglights.

ok just did some checks.

i checked the fuse/relay locatons in the OEM instructons for foglights. nothing there. no switch plug in switch locatons. no red/wht wire on headlight switch. thus no fog wiring.

there IS NOT a conector like that on the drivers side. however there is a blue/red wire going to the horn from the same harness. same wire size. my guess is that on EDM cars your required to have a horn on each side. that might be whats it's for.

If you try to hook up a horn to this wire you are in for a big headache. It's for the foglights.

The other side of this plug is underneath the center console under the cupholders. You gotta look for it though. I was trying to use this when I was hooking up my fogs, but just decided to run my own wires.
