Rep Power: 0 Front Door Speaker Help (with pics!)
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I recently purchased a 2004 EX Coupe and was looking to replace the dinky factory speakers. However, I ran into trouble when attempting to remove the door panel. I was able to follow all the steps in Europort's DIY guide, up to removing the arm console on the door.
I noticed that in the 7th gen coupe, the mechanism is different from that of the sedans. After I removed the lone screw beneath the flap on the driver's door arm console (see pic), I was able to lift up the upper section along the rubbery/faux-carbon fiber seam (see pic). However, this is where I ran into the roadblock. I'm guessing I have to disconnect the wiring harness in white. That still leaves the primary problem of removing the bottom half of the arm console, which I have not been able to figure out how to do.
Also, regarding the factory tweeters positioned adjacent to the side mirrors, I could not figure out how to loosen the panel encasing them either. As you can see in the picture provided, the bottom edge is longer than the space necessary to pry it outwards.
If there's anyone who could assist with these frustrating roadblocks, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 alright for the sail panel (tweeter pod) roll down your window and pry out from the top. It takes some force. Becareful cuz u gotta remove the plugs without ripping them out. As for the door panel if it is like my sedan there are 2 screws that attach the whole panel to the door. Look behind where that harness is that you circled for a gold screw. Also behind the door handle check for screws behind a removable peice where you stick your fingers to open the door. If that was all wrong im sorry lol.

Rep Power: 0 also on the other part that you circled you dont remove that peice. just undo that harness and get the screws in that area that hold it on the door then pop the clips and go up and off with the panel
