so im looking into getting a remote start and im planing on doing it my self im looking threw the directions and i under stand how to connect the unit it self but the bypass im not as sure anyone done this be for....i have modert electrical know how and i know how to use a multimeter so i figure i could figured i would do it my self instead of spending the 300 bucks

use the 555u immobilizer bypass, key goes inside the box.
3 connections: power, ground, - input active while remote starting. usually blue on DEI units

yea but does that just connect to the remote start unit or do u have to connect it to the car itself

well it connects to the remote start unit for its input signal. The bypass comes with a ring that gets fitted around the key cylinder
