Rep Power: 222 They have a set rate at which they compress and then expand for a certain amount of load. If you cut them and throw that outta whack then your ride will go with it. Good luck keeping it off the side of the road bro. Be safe.

Rep Power: 222 dont cut the springs do it right, at the least just buy new springs that are dropped, get a rear camber kit and get it aligned. its the only way to go. cutting the springs will mess up yopur alignment which will cause your car to handle, ride poorly, it will fvck up your tires then u have to buy new tires, an alignment rear camber kit so in the long run its gonna cost u more if you cut it.

Rep Power: 485 yea man.. if you're gonna do it, do it right the first time.. you'll save more money that way.. like mentioned above, if you cut your springs, you'll risk having to spend more money fixing the problem

Dude don't cut your springs! My buddy did this on his 86 Camaro... rode like crap for the first week and then blew out his struts. He didn't drive like his life depended on it either. Don't do it! it cost him a lot more than a nice set of eibach's would have.
