Rep Power: 0 2004 Honda Civic ex: What to do?
Hi i'm just getting into cars and have decided I want to take as best care as I can for my car, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or anything that could help me. I was also wondering what are good upgrades I can do for my civic? Sorry if this sounds dumb would appreciate any input.

Have it looked at every once in a while by a mechanic, get the oil changed regularly..
Wax is every 4 months or so.. Drive carefully. lol

If you don't know the condition of the fluids, start over.
New Oil
New transmission fluid (If automatic make sure they do a drain and fill, not a pump driven machine flush).
if dark new power steering
check your brakes if the pads are low replace the pads and make sure they do a full brake bleed at all four corners. (you don't have to do this every time, but if you do not know the last time the fluid was replaced I would do a four corner replacement).
Find a place that tests coolant for PH level, coolant lasts a long time and may still be fine.
As for mods, you have to really understand what you want out of the car before I can suggest any mods.
Are you modding for
-Looks?
-Hellaflush?
-performance inspired?
-ratrod?
-super clean?
Race?
-drag?
-track?
-autoX?
-drift?
Other?
